A Holiday In Bukit Tinggi....

I recently wen on a holiday trip to Bukit Tinggi with my college-mates Sam,Shaza,Li Sian,Shawn,Jia Ling,Ben,Geraldine,Jon and Ethan.We had a ball of a time.We had planned for this trip for a few weeks.We made plans to stay at Meranti Park Suites.Junn Tseng was supposed to be on our trip but he had to cancel due to a sudden flu and fever.Must hav been the weather.So we ended up with 10 people but Geraldine came with her parents.So we started da day wakin up early,gettin ready and left early in anticipation of the heavy traffic down at Imbi Road.But guess wat,my dad got me and Ethan there in under 30 minutes.Amazing.We left at 7am and arrived at bout 7.25am.So my dad dropped us at the mamak shop opposite Times Square.We were the 1st to arrive.We had our breakfast and was soon joined by Jia Ling.And not long after came Sam,Shaza and Li Sian,and lastly Jon.Sam wasted 3/4 of a 'roti telur'.Ben would say somethin if he was there.We sat and chatted for a while b4 makin our way to Times Square.There,we met Ben,nicely posing in front of the entrance.Nex,we also found Shawn,wanderin in da 3rd floor.Swan's mus like to wander.(hahahaha....)We made our way down and out of Times Square in search of the travellin agency.We searched for a while and found it in the end.Sam collected the money from us and payed for our to and fro tickets.Our shuttle leaves at 9.30am.We had time so we headed over to Starbucks.Only Sam ordered something to drink.Ten minutes to 9.30am we made our way to our shuttle.Kept us waitin for about another 20 minutes.Darn it.We were gettin frustrated only for him to show up at last.Went into da shuttle van and was on our way to Bukit Tinggi.We were havin a ball of a time in da shuttle van.(so wat's shawn doin back there to Sam???)Sam was photo-crazy as always and wen around foolin with her camera.Sam...Sam...Funny la.We chit-chatted about in the van.I was left sittin alone in the front.Haih...But a certain good fren named Shawn came up and sat nex to me.Thanx Shawn.Appreciate it.I had forgotten that Ben's choki-choki was in my bag of snacks.Wen i found out,I took it out and started temptin Ben.Hahaha...He really likes choki-choki so much.Addicted i guess.The ride took bout an hour to get us up Bukit Tinggi.The ride up was a quite fun.The road is curvy.So most of them complaint bout gettin sick.Hahahaha....so funny.So then the driver took us straight to Colmar Village.The place looks beautiful.Real nice architectural designs.We were told that a local shuttle will take us up to Meranti Park Suite.At 1st we look like lost tourist,but eventually we got use to the place and it's public transport.So then we got on a ride on the local shuttle and made our way to the Bukit Tinggi Golf and Country Club.That's where the reception counter is.We had reached there too early.Around 11am.So we couldn't check-in yet because the actual check-out time is 12pm.So we started wanderin about the country club.Walked in every corner and shops.And then we had found a bowling area.Yeah!!! Entertainment.We went in and tried out.Me,Sam,Jia Ling and Ben played bowling for only a round.I was trashed by all 3 of them.*sniff*So sad la.Well,what can i expect after almost 4 years not playin.Last played was before PMR.Ai...missed bowling so much.Then some of us were diverted to playin daytona.Hahaha...even more fun there.Ethan beat Jia Ling,Shaza beat Ethan and I beat Shaza.Woo hoo...Reignin champion.Hahaha...better at daytona than bowling.So sad la.Then we had 3 small kids in our group namely Ben,Jon and Shawn.Hahaha...they went for some kiddie rides there.So amusing.Reachin your 2nd childhood,guys???Hahahaha....Funny guys.Then we jus wandered around again while waitin for the check-in time.When the guest check-out time arrived we went to the reception and asked for our rooms.The receptionist told us that the room is currently being cleaned.So Sam had to fill in a registration form to get our rooms.The receptionist had mistakenly written down Sam's title as 'Mr' instead of 'Ms'. Hahahaha..... funny la.Mr Tan Ying Yin.Hehehe...So then the reception said our rooms will be ready in bout an hour.So we went over to the restaurant there and had lunch.The food prices were quite reasonable.Hope i could say the same for their food.Worse spaghetti i've eaten so far.Eeeeyuuuuukkkkk...It tasted a little soggy and da sauce tasted like it has been watered down.Yeeecccchhhhhhh.....I'll nvr eat another spaghetti for a few weeks till i can get over that taste.After havin lunch,we took our keys from the receptionist and went up to our rooms.Our apartment is located all the way at the top of Bukit Tinggi.The highest point.We took our bags,got into a shuttle and made our way up.It was a high climb for the shuttle to get to our apartment.We got there and went into our rooms.The girls took room 6410 and we guys took room 6413.We explore around the room and then prepared to go out for more.It was a simple apartment with all the furniture and electrical appliances. You wouldn't believe how clean and cool the air is up there.Kinda makes u wish u don't hav to come back to KL.With all the haze and dust,u would certainly like to breathe in some clean air. Haih...how i wish.This is definitely the place to go to relax and enjoy the scenery.We then prepared and waited for the shuttle to get to the Rabbit Farm.4 of us had to pay RM3.Went in and played with the rabbits there.Tried catchin some here and there. Sam looks like a mom carryin a baby in my pic.The girls especially were all over the rabbits.Shawn and Ben went around chasin the rabbits,tryin to catch them.Then we jus sat at the Rabbit Farm area waitin for a shuttle bus to take us back up to our apartments.Sam and Jon wanted to hike all the way up but unfortunately it started to rain.It was so cooling with the rain and the already cool air. We all jus sat there talkin "ketam"(Ben's style) and ate Twisties and Double-Decker.Finally the right shuttle arrives and we made our way back up to our suites.The air was chillin goin up.When we got back,we got into our rooms,rested and started disturbin each other.We were shocked to look out our window and saw the mist coverin the ground below us.It was a sea of mist.Most of us stepped out to look at it and Jon was hopin for it to come towards us.And it did...eventually.So cold and nice.Me and the guys were in our room,playin football with the basketball Jon brought.Smackin all over the place.The girls were in their room gossipin away bout everythin.Me,Ben,Shawn and Ethan were sittin outside their bedroom listenin to them and contradictin everythin they're sayin.Hahahaha...Real fun doin that.We guys don't usually get to gossip.I like listenin to gossips.Get to hear all sorts of wierd,unheard of things.Girls know more bout this sort of things we guys don't.So then we showered and got ready to go out again.Jon said he was sleepy and tired and didn't follow us to Colmar Village.We left our apartments and went to wait for the shuttle at about 8pm.Waited for quite sometime and gotten fed-up.So we walked down to the abandoned guard booth and called the reception to send up a shuttle.It was dark and cold and the girls were a little frightened.And Shaza had to make it worse by suddenly screamin out of a sudden which had frightened the girls,especially Sam.Bad Shaza...bad.I wasn't afrid but she almost blew my eardrums.Ouch.Then the shuttle arrives.On the way down,the wind was freezin.It's like sittin in the refridgerator with full-blast wind.I was wearin shorts so i was particularly freezin my "bejabbers" outta me.Hahahaha....We finally arrived at Colmar Village. It was even more beautiful at night than mornin. We went around explorin the place and snappin lots of photos.We even went up that tower on the left-hand picture and got a beautiful pic of the place. The sight was magnificent.We went back down through an elevator.Halfway down,we realised we had forgotten about Ethan.So me and Sam went back up and went back down with him.Walkin out,we saw an arcade centre and decided to go in hav some fun.Shaza was excited because there was a fightin game-Bloody Roar.She played a few rounds.Then we saw a foosball table there.Shawn was the 1st to get to it.We played it-me with shawn and ben with ethan.Me and Shawn beat Ben and Ethan 5-0.Nex we challenged Ben and Jia Ling.We won 4-2.Woo hoo....real fun there.Hahaha....Then we went into a souvenir shop and got some playin cards.I forgot to bring mine.So then we went out for some photo sessions. Sam was doin the 'invisible women' bit in my photo.Hahahaha...it's funny to look at.And Shaza did the scream again there and frightened Sam and Li Sian again.Haih....Shaza.Then,we got on the shuttle and made our way back to our suites.The freezin air again was invigoratin.Sooo cooolllllddd.....*shiver*Geri was waitin for us in the room.The girls went to their rooms to change and took all the snacks to our room.Yeah!!!Party time.We went into the bedroom to play 'truth or dare'.Jon and Shaza were outside restin.Mos of us would choose truth cuz we won hav to do freaky stuffs.So we limited everyone to only 2 truths choice.Sam left the game halfway and was replaced with Shaza.Jia Ling had to kiss Ethan's hand as a dare and Shawn had to go into the toilet and make obscene,dirty sounds.Hahaha...Ben had to run his hand thru Li Sian's hair and say romantic stuffs but he didn't know wat to say.What an unromantic person.Hahahaha...After that,we gathered in the hall area to chat and tell ghost stories.Shaza and Geri were fortune-tellin everyone there.I seem to like power and can't control my emotions.Hmmm... Sam didn't want to hear a ghost story cuz she was uncomfortable with it,especially since now is the hungry-ghost festival.Haih...then the girls didn't go back to their room and slept in ours.We took all the blankets and a mattress to the hall and slept there.Only Ethan was sleepin in our room alone,snorin away.Sam,Shaza,Ben and Jon wanted to talk so they went back to da other room and slept there.In the mornin,i woke up early cuz Shawn had pushed me off the pillow we were sharin.So i got up,went over to Sam's room for a while and came back to our room.Was still so tired.So then everyone took their showers and brushed their teeths.I was feelin hungry so Sam,me,Shaza and Ethan walked all the way down to the country club to use our breakfast buffet coupon.It turns out we reached there a few minutes after the breakfast session ended.We were disappointed but we sat down and had some normal rice meal instead.I was gettin gastric for not havin dinner the previous night.Then we waited for a shuttle and went back up to our suites,only to see them already waitin outside the apartment with our bags.We took our bags and went down to check-out.After that,we went over to the Japanese Garden.We had to pay RM16 per person to enter.We went up to the Japanese Garden.The road was really steep.Dangerous.There we went in and started explorin the place. There,Shaza and Jia Ling had rented kimonos to wear and walk around.It cost them RM20 but to them,it was worth it. They looked like real Japanese women walkin around with us.Everyone was starin at them everywhere they went with us.Hahahaha...But they didn't mind it.Then we left the Japanese Garden and went back down to Colmar Village at around 3 somethin pm.The transport was not ready to leave for KL yet so we went into Colmar to hav some lunch and games.And i got a picture of Sam bein a bull-cart puller.Hahahahaa....she jus replaced the bull.But then,everythin good must come to an end.We got onto our shuttle and left for KL.Goodbye clean and cool air and hello again to dust and smoke.On the journey back,most of us were still tired and slept in the shuttle.At 1st,Ethan was sleepin on Shaza's shoulder.Then,Shaza was sleepin on Ethan's shoulder. Awww....comfortable,ey???Hahaha...I almost smacked my head on Sam twice cuz my head was swayin around.Wen we finally arrived in Times Square,we went in and split up.Li Sian and Shawn followed Jia Ling and me,Shaza,Ethan and Jon followed Sam.We went McD for dinner.Then we made our way to the monorail.It was packed.Rush hour time.But we saw Ben there.He was the 1st person i noticed there because of his pose.Hahahaha...All of us then took the monorail to KL Central and changed to KTM goin to Subang Jaya.We had to leave Jon alone at KL Central because he wasn't sure when to go home.We were makin fun of the intercom announcer in the KTM.We reached Subang at around 7pm and left on our own.Sam and Shaza went to Subang Parade to wait for Sam's mom.My dad had offered to fetch Ethan home since he stays in Goodyear Court 10.Then i went to The Chicken Rice Shop to hav dinner,again,with my parents.Eventually,i got home and continued on with the normal life.This was our trip up Bukit Tinggi.Hope everyone who went enjoyed it cuz i know i did.
